If I remember correctly, in the original glass horn brochure there was a 
mention of the "investment potential"
 of the horns.  According to Paul Baker, there were 94 horns made in that run 
so they aren't particularly rare. 
 As Rene has stated here on many occasions it isn't that they are rare but so 
rarely trade hands that keeps
 the value high.

There have been several other runs of reproduction glass horns made in France 
and one in England that I
 know of.  I don't know how many horns were made in these runs.  The "crystal" 
(clear, straight glass horns)
 are particularly attractive.  The European horns are a bit harder to find.  I 
have only seen one on these on
 eBay and none offered for sale otherwise.

 to CAPS (the California version) and begin receiving the OUTSTANDING 
"Soundbox" magazine - I hear
 rumors there may be a related article soon.
