Tagliavini was a pretty decent tenor who made his records in the 40's. Ignore the woman on the "mint condition" cover. Generally, if an Italian's first name ends with an O, it's a male; A, it's a female. Kinda like Spanish, another Latin-based Romance language.
The seller is just plain stupid. On a number of levels. ..but if anyone finds a 33 inch record out there somewhere, let me know. I'll trade ya my land in Texas for it. r. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, February 15, 2006 9:27 PM Subject: Re: [Phono-L] High priced records > Is there any way we can bid this obscure LP up to $1,000,000,000,000.01, and > make the auction implode? > > Though I am far from an expert, I am familiar with many of opera's big > names.
