I used to visit the Seattle area on business quite a bit a few years back.
Seattle is a beautiful city.  Check out the fish market referred to in a
prior post.  It's a trip!

 

You might want to try visiting a small community just about 25 miles from
Seattle called Enumclaw Washington.  It sits at the foot of Mount Rainier.
It is truly one of the most beautiful places on earth that I've ever seen!
Here's a bit of useless information:  Enumclaw is a Native American name
that roughly translates to "Thundering wind".  The natives used to camp at
the base of Mount Rainier in the winter.  The wind blowing over the top of
the mountains made a thundering sound, thus the name.

 

It is a quaint little community with terrific people, many of whom are
Native Americans with some very nice antique stores.
