I am looking for a 12 inch section of 3/8 inch half-round oak rope molding as
used on some Columbia phonograph cases. This is for restoration of a Columbia
HG cylinder machine. Would anyone have an old piece of this molding lying
around and be willing to part with it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Please reply off list. Thanks.

Subject: [Phono-L] Columbia Trim Ring Saga
Message-ID: <[email protected]>

A message to all who have been waiting to hear whether reproduction trim
rings can or will be made for their ring-less Columbia outside horn
machines.

Despite the interest shown on the message board and other phono lists, the
best I could do is a proposal from Ron Sitko. He would require an initial
investment of $2000-3000 tooling cost for each size (10" and 12"), along
with a 100 piece minimum order.

I know they seem simple enough -- clock bezels after all -- but it looks
like we are out of luck unless we come up with the investment capital and a
greater need for the parts. I tried.
