Everyone -- A friend of a friend is selling a machine, and would like to know
what price to ask. He doesn't have photos yet, but when he does I'll post them
if you need them. Any thoughts would be most gratefully received. Description:
Columbia Graphophone, Type AT (serial # 264037). Probably the first AT model,
based on the latest patent date (1897). Seems to be in working order, although
I don't have a needle to try it out. Horn would appear to be original, based
on photos I have seen on the Web. Machine and case appear to be in VG/EX
condition, although I would defer to experts on this to make that judgment.
Thanks! Merle

If it is an AT, which is a cylinder machine, and there is "no needle to try it
out" does that mean the reproducer is gone?
