Mike, say it isn't so. The part about getting older is very true, the best advice I can give is to lift weights and stretch. I am 47 and unless I work out my back gets so bad it is hard for me to get around. When I was young I lifted to get big, I never did, now I lift just to extend middle age. Start out very light and never lift weights that are heavy to you and see a doctor if you have questions, but no matter what your age this can help as long as you do not have serious problems. Best to all, Steve

I can't count the number of times I've been to other people's homes, and they fail to offer even a glass of water. Host/Hostess skills are obviously not being taught by parents! "Would you like a cup of coffee? A Coke?" A lot of older people around here wouldn't let you go until they could FEED you. Alas, that generation would be in their 90s now, if they'd have lived so long. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Loran Hughes" <[email protected]> To: "Antique Phonograph List" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, December 05, 2006 11:43 AM Subject: Re: [Phono-L] Moving Victrolas On Dec 5, 2006, at 6:42 AM, Stan Stanford wrote: > Mike, > Those were the same excuses you used then and always use. Now that I'm thinking of it, that's all I'll do now too... except the part about carrying the light stuff. ;) Loran
