I never realized Edison announced closing down his record business on the 
very day of the stock market crash, Black Tuesday.  I knew it was around 
that time, but not the actual day of!  I wonder if he had some insider info 
that precipitated the decision.  Up until now, I assumed the onset of the 
Depression was the reason, but now the timing seems odd.
