Hi,
If anyone is in the San Francisco area, there is a really nice exhibit 
on the history of sound at the airport. There is everything there from a 
Berliner phonograph to surround sound. Pictures of the pioneers of the 
industry. I was not aware it was there until my flight out. I have some 
pictures if anyone is interested.

It is indeed a nice exhibit, sponsored by Dolby and including a lot of  their 
prototype materials. There are a few of my machines on display.  
Unfortunately the exhibit is behind the security line so only  those people 
with tickets 
on United can see it, but according to airport  officials that amounts to 
100,000 people a day...

I had seen this sort of truncation of text happen in the past. The whole
link is there, but the text is being truncated (probably after 80
