Most collectors simply "collect". We buy, enjoy, and appreciate a item and hold it for a period of time and eventually it is passed to another collector. Some of us make minor repairs or cleanings and are satisfied with the results. Very few of us have ever attempted a project like Ken. He brought back a machine from the dead and future generations will be able to enjoy his efforts. I admire your ability and determination. Jerry Blais

I couldn't see doing that kind of work on an Amberola 30. :-) Unless it was made of ebony or something. ----- Original Message ----- From: "DeeDee Blais" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, February 03, 2007 10:34 AM Subject: [Phono-L] Ken D's restoration > Most collectors simply "collect".
