Hey Jerry-- You probably sold your cylindrs, but I'm interested----- how nice are the 2 min. Edisons? If the 2 min. wax Edisons are excellent, no mold, I'd like to discuss this with you further. Cheers, Tim Fabrizio phonophan PO Box 747 Henrietta, NY 14467

It's pretty darn cool and it really works. Takes some trial and error because the needle is free to float back and forth while recording, in spite of the pivot being screwfed, but once you get a decently long recording without the grooves crossing, it's really gratifying! Sound quality isn't clear enough to discern speech unless you know what was said, and the rubber belt is still a little jerky from having been folded in the packaging, but it's still neato. And probably good for demonstrating at a lecture/presentation. If anyone gets the cylinder version, I'd like to know how it turns out myself.
