You should take a photo with today's paper in the background and email it to him. Mike Hi Mike: Many many years ago I vowed never to attempt to disswade people of their preset ideas that their genuine one of a kind Edison Fireside Model B SIGNED BY EDISON HIMSELF in 24 karat gold leaf was not worth $50,000. If I sent this guy an email showing my copy he would think that I was a phony out to cheat him out of his original. If he was a criminal type he would be trying to figure a way to part me with my original. Either way it would only end up with no resolution and be a waste of my time. If offered the same decal today I might pay the $250 postulated on this list. It would depend on how much my OCD (Obsessive Cumpulsive Disorder) to buy Edison stuff had kicked in for the day.
