My early Standard is #834 and it has a gear cover. I
have always prized it because it has a "Bacigalupi"
decal in the front where "Edison" decals are found on
later Standards. Does anyone know how late the
smaller winding shafts were used on Standards? I
bought an original slotted crank for my machine at
Union last year (thanks Wild Bill) and I have a nice
reproduction around here somewhere if anyone needs it.
See you at Union! Jerry Blais

I know number 3 is in existence. I'll have to see if the owner wants to
identify himself. It's a nice one.
