I must say the III is in really nice condition, very decent orig finish, bright
orig nickel plating. The only problem is the elbow. It has two pins to limit
the horn's rotation, and is made of two pieces. The upward angle of the elbow
doesn't allow the reproducer to pass under it when in the 'disengaged'
position, i.e. when sitting on top of the tonearm. I am thinking this may not
be the correct elbow for this machine. I put the orig elbow from my Vic II and
the repro elbow from the other VIc II, and they are both fine.
This seems to be an original elbow, but with a lesser angle..anyone know
anything about that??

Of the two machines in your pictures I like the Vic III best.
