There was a Columbia model called the Meteor, with black bayonet mount tone
arm, nickel hardware, aluminum diaphragm on the sound box and the typical
louver front. It was a small, (about 13 by 14") cabinet concealing a single
spring motor according to Baubach's Columbia book. It was introduced in
1917.

Subject: [Phono-L] Meteor phonograph

Someone contacted me for information about a Meteor phonograph they have,
and I can't help them. It seems to me someone on this list was asking about
that very phonograph in the past few weeks. Anyone know anything I could
pass along to this person? Thanks!
