I lived in the Los Angeles area for twenty years beginning in 1981 (was

staying with other friends just a few blocks away from the Corbetts. I
called them and they told me a CAPS meeting was happeening at tgheir place
that very minute, so I dashed over and got to see the new building and hang
out for aa while with S & D and another dear, dear old friend, Mike
Khanchalian. Weren't you at that meeting John R.? Seems to me like I met
you there. I last saw S & D, and Mike at Union this year (along with a
number of other left coasters I hadn't seen in years: Ray Phillips, John
Levin, Oliphants, Brice Paris, et. al.) Regards, John M.
