This Standard B is in excellent condition but I am amazed to see it go so high.
I have seen a triumph with a wooden horn go for close to that price.

The last time a different Standard A was on eBay the pin striping was totally
gone, the seller described it as mint and it sold for $700. I thought it was
in horrible shape, but the buyer did not agree and went by the description so I
assumed he did not know what a mint one looked like.

Steve --
It is by Edward Sterling Wright, a black actor and lecturer who was well-known
for his recitations of poems by another black American, poet Paul Laurence
Dunbar. Wright only recorded three titles for Edison. I wish I would have
seen
that cylinder on eBay but I didn't. I need that one to complete my ESW
collection. Kind regards, John
