The Idelia on eBay was a Model D2 which meant it was shipped with a cygnet
horn. Thus the horn in the auction was married to the machine at a later date.

However, I doubt that is why the machine went "so low!" ;-)

Best Wishes to All,

Al

Hello Al,

Do you think it had the original case as the case was not drilled for a cygnet
horn?

If it was shipped with a cygnet horn, then it would have the bracket holes
at the rear of the case. However, in answer to a bidder's question, the
seller said the case was not drilled for a cygnet horn. So it would seem
that it was shipped with a straight horn, which I agree does seem odd for a
Model D2.
