I'm glad to see that you have actually seen another of these. The sound is really pretty good, considering that it is a pre-viva-tonal machine. The sound travels through the wooden lid with an oddly suspended tonearm and the louvers allow for a volume control. Now when have you seen a pre-electric portable with a volume control?
