I used to have an Excelda.  I would suggest anyone that has one get the 
instructions so that you have a good diagram of how to store the components 
in the case when the phonograph is not in use.  I can remember when I had 
mine that if you forget how to pack the parts it can take a while to get it 
right.

Excelda portable phonograph -- it's the one that's shaped like the old
