Hello all
I have been able to locate a tonearm, bracket and reproducer for this
machine, thanks to the list. The owner wants to sell the machine, for which I
left a link to the pics on my Photobucket page. It is an L-door XVI, the first
model without the fancy frieze around the edge where the lid rests. It is a
nice machine, and I will have a price for it shortly, I think it will be about
$800. I am waiting for the seller to decide. It is located in Holly, which is
south of Flint Michigan. Any interest?? BTW, I am not making a commissio or
anything, I am just trying to help the lady sell it. The story of it is that
her husband bought it at a yard sale somet time ago, and that when he went to
get the truck to go back and pick it up, som kids removed the tonearm. He
figured he still had to buy it as he had made a commitment, so he did and never
found a tonearm for it. His widow wants to sell it, and the daughter is the
contact who got hold of me.
  Thanks
  John Robles

I'm sure you folks know of this site, but just in case... I found it while
trying to locate info on the Uncle Josh records. Boy, Uncle Josh does ramble
on! He reminds me of some of the sales infomercial folks on TV. :)

I particularly like this site because the song play easily. Some of the old
record sites won't work with my comp without some type of additional SW!
