I've had my share of finds too. It sure makes a good story when someone gets
something good! My problem is i got some good stuff before I knew it was good
stuff!
When I was in the early years of collecting, I bought a Revere from a guy in
Philly, and later sold it, not realizing what a cool machine it was. Also,
earlier than that, I bought a Victrola Granada, and inside the motor
compartment was a great big black and gold needle tin, turned out to be a
Victor tin from the very early days. Had the embossed dog on top, and held 1000
needles. I sold it for $50. Finally, earlier still, I had an Edison crank with
the teardrop on the shoulder that said 'Natl Phonograph Company. Sold that for
$50 too. If I had known then what I know now.....

I'm glad you won it! Good find. Yeah.unfortunately I have a knack for
finding them after the auction has ended.
