Brian,

What size/shape are the weights now?  Do they screw on or are they riveted
onto the springs (in which case the springs may be wrong as well). Maybe
someone can come up with something smaller even if they may not be from the
same brand motor.

Hi, I am repairing a motor (Mermod-ST on the pillar and post motor) from a
Regal phonograph. The phonograph was sold in Montreal Canada. Some one has
replaced the governor weights poorly and I think not the correct size as
they hit the frame at a slow speed. Can anyone out there with one of these
motors tell me what size weights and springs should be correct. Thanks for
