This should be an easy one (famous last words?). Has anyone ever heard of a leather elbow being used on a rear mount Vic I, instead of the metal one? I always thought that leather elbows were used only on front-mount machines but saw a Vic I recently with a leather elbow securely mounted in the back bracket. No horn on it though. The machine had been untouched for decades, so if it's a creative "fix" it was done quite long ago.
