With all the fraudulent listings out there, I always ask the seller for more detailed pictures on substantial items I am interested in. If I receive exactly the pictures I ask for then I feel more comfortable proceeding with a possible sale. There have been a number of Ebay sellers that either say the item is already boxed and I have to refer to the listing for pictures or I don't receive a reply from my request for more pictures. I have also asked for a phone number to call for more information. This has also worked.
