Steve, I have another Automatic, serial number 56941. Both of my Automatics have the small hinge design. 56941 was issued to a 2 clip standard as part of a Polyphone attachment as the rear reproducer. The attachment did not require an adjusting arm because it was set screwed in. The adjusting arm was removed so I don't know if it was marked or not.
