One should always arm themselves with knowledge before bidding on any auction item in any auction. e.g. The M electric has the topworks from a Model A Triumph where some mechanic has fashioned two idler pulleys attached to the mandrel bearing support but is missing the two pulley stanchions that were on the true electric topworks. The serials on the M electrics that I have seen top out just under 27000 for a 1906 Balmoral. Note also that the Concert photo is of a Reginaphone and not the Concert. Whoever writes the descriptions seems to go for brevity. It is important to note that when one sees a 2 minute cylinder player with a green top reproducer (H 4 Minute) that mentioning that in the description would be helpful. Very few auction houses know anything about phonographs. A number of very nice phonographs appearing in the San Francisco Bonham auction went cheaply since the "expert" in house left out so much from the descriptions. The Model E Triumph and its Music Master horn were a bargain for someone since they got separated as two lots. Best Wishes To All, Al
