I had another collector write to say that he has a 1A grill which is down while another 1A and an A250 are both up. I believe I will likely go with George's advice on grill orientation, but the presence of both orientations in such numbers implies to me that both variations existed originally. This seems a little counterintuitive and I would like to hear if any period photos show this grill in "urn at top opening down" orientation. Again, thanks for your comments, Don
