I have been watching this seller for 3 years. This seller always has  
these clean machines on Ebay and gets 4 times the real value.  It  
looks like he applies something to the bedplates to make them look  
darker black. On other machines he definitely applies finishes on the  
cases.  I have several completely original machines in almost showroom  
condition in my collection and the bedplates are not as deep black as  
his machines. This home was even missing pin stipe along the leading  
edge!
