I take mine to a professional refurbisher of brass band instruments.? In the summers, he's often busy with school instruments, but during the fall and winter is a better time.? I've spent 4-5 hours working on the bell of a 42" horn, only to take a similar horn to the refurbisher and have it look much better for $80.00.? For my money/time, there's no question of which is the better route.? Check your yellow pages, and good luck!

The brass is dull. What do you experts recommend in getting a nice bright shine back? Thanks much.
