It should be in the $4200 range. I would buy as many deals like this that
I could find for $3200, even with the current economic conditions.

cabinet alone might go for more, they seem to have appreciated lately. The
Triumph B might go for less as lately they have been bringing about $700.
Am I off base or is this the concensus? AL

Can anyone give me a current ballpark figure on a Triumph B, horizontal
carriage with "O" reproducer, oak cygnet horn, and with matching Herzog
oak
round front cylinder cabinet. All very nice and completely original.
Cabinet has original pegs and all shelves also. A friend is considering
selling and I would like to make a fair offer. Thanks.

Thanks Harvey, I believe you are correct about the scarcity of this particular
model as this is the first time I have come across one. It appears it was one
of the first Diamond Disc machines in production and offered for sale to the
general public in 1912.

Bruce, I just bought one yesterday at an estate sale. I offered $200 and it was

Can anyone give me an estimate on the price for an Edison Queen Anne Model
A-200, I am going to make a lady an offer for one and I want to be in the ball
park for what the going price is today. This one appears to be in really nice
shape

Thanks,

Because the of the scarcity I am wondering whether Harvey had a stroke of luck
at the estate sale and this Diamond Disc Queen Anne A-200 would normally
command a higher sum? Can anyone confirm this??

Hi Bruce, I knew the machine was? more than the $200 I paid.? The seller had no
knowledge of what he had.Offer the seller a low ball figure and work it from
there. Knowledge is power and I'd recommend to you guys is to READ and STUDY
those books, ask lots of questions That's how I get good deals. I have been in
this hobby for over 20 years now. It started with a 1918 Victrola VI(I still
have it) on board my ship when I was in the Navy. Now they breed like rabbits.

Personally, I'm shocked that it sold. I had one for sale on a machine and no
one wanted the machine till I switched it for a conventional Victor horn! Most
people find them rather "ugly." The only thing this one had going for it was
it was in really nice condition -- they tend to peel. In terms of rarity, it's
not rare, though it's less common here than abroad. They come in various
sizes and colors including green and red.
