Mike, I agree with you, I also have a problem with spending huge amounts of money on a photo. There is no real guarantee that you will ever receive the item and when you do and it turns out to be fake you have nobody to blame but yourself.
Money is not that easy to come by for me, I have not worked in the past two years but even when I was working I would have never spent over $50.00 on something on ebay. I guess it all goes back to the old and very truthful saying "Let the buyer beware". I have been lucky, I have only been ripped off a couple of times on ebay and those times they were less than 30 dollars each so I feel very good about that.
