A big shoebox with 2 rubberbands around it works fine, too :)

I have a circular metal carrier for 6 cylinders with a small round handle on top...that came off an Edison dictaphone.

That's a great idea. I'd be interested in one that carried 6.

Every 4th of July I take my Edison Gem B with 2&4 gearing and about six cylinders wherever we celebrate the 4th. The Gem is a pleasure to pack around but the cylinders are a nuisance. I was thinking how easy it would be to make a device to carry a small number of cylinders and make them more portable. Every time I'm in an antique shop and see the little tin Coke carrier, I think how nice it would be to have something for cylinders. I would make something lightweight but sturdy out of wood with a handle on the top. I have an idea on design but I have not priced the raw materials. How many cylinders would you like to carry this way...6?...8? or ? If it could be made for $25 would you be interested? Any comments would be appreciated. Jerry Blais
