I may have missed some details here, but what disc (diameter?) was  
deposited (by?) on Feb 28, 1880? Is it "unidentified" because there is no  
detailed 
accession card, or because the contents of the disc have not been  looked 
at? "Samuel Tainter" indeed! That date is before the formation of the  Volta 
Labs.
