I recently picked up a c1929 Edison C-4 which is a great machine but doesn't exactly fit into my collecting focus so I'm considering a sale or trade for something earlier. The man I purchased it from went through it and got it playing very well by "tuning up" the amp and rebuilding the speaker and reproducer. It plays lateral 78's - not Diamond Discs - and it sounds great.
