I saw the original post. Are you talking about the metal banded thing with the depression on one side (where the needle bar would go?) and which sat in a flat-bottomed, cup-like depression in the portable's motorboard? I've got one that I think is still the right size and shape but it has hardened up with age. I'd love to see a repro as well.
