My 1979 Dodge Diplomat, not so much - but I'll never forget this scene:
Cop: Do you know you were going almost 80 ?
Me: Oh, officer, I don't think this car can even go that fast!
Cop: (laughs) I'm driving the same car!
Me: Oh.
Cop: Okay, just watch it from now on. Get outta here!
(Sometimes it pays to look innocent & nerdy)
