Glad to hear the Rooster has Landed, Houston! And I'm glad my mysterious
'well-known record dealer' has identified himself :) I don't like to sell
and tell, but thought my valuation of the selling side would be helpful to the
conversation. I was pleased with Kurt's offer and am even more pleased to hear
that it has been restored and is happily guarding a 10-50. Haven't seen you in
a long while, Kurt. I hope all is well. The kids are all getting older and
college expenses are through the roof!!

But on a more important note, I just bought about half of a Zonophone B, and
am setting my sights on learning more about it and perhaps completing another
restoration project. Can anyone help with Zono B info??

Thanks-
Brad

That well-known dealer finally had his rooster restored by a
onservator at Houston's Museum of Fine Arts at a cost of several
undred dollars, and now it proudly sits on his 10-50.
(The rooster had a broken base, broken beak and was painted white.
orking from photos of an original provided by Tim Fabrizio, it now
ooks terrific.)
Thanks Brad!
