Greetings from New Zealand. At the moment we are making the news with a shipping mishap in the Bay Of Plenty, Tauranga. Beaufiful beaches, oil here, oil there, oil everywhere. Spring has sprung, and YES I AM COMMING OVER TWO UNION, are my dates correct? Will be heading to the US in the middle of May for 4 weeks then onto Paris and Prague. Somehow I will have to fit my nieces wedding in France in as well, plus a trip to Phonogallerie in Paris. I suppose to get to Union my port of entry will be John F Kennedy Airport, New York? . I am on the bludge, for a couch to sleep on here and there, and to mix with as many phono nuts as poss! The more nuts you are, the better it will be!!!! Will have my back pack, will serenade you with Frank Crummit songs, and English Musical Hall. I am from German decent, approaching 50, fit, well, I would have to be, I am a Postman and I walk 14ks a day. I am house trained, a lover of dogs and animals especially PARROTS. Love phonographs of all shapes, and anything that reproduces somewhat a little different! Have a soft spot for Columbia Rear mount machines. From my observations on ebay the GUTS has fallen out of everthing including phonographs. Must be some good buys then! Love Jazz on Cylinder, Harry Radermans does it for me! Your suggestions as to what to see and where to go will BE MUCH APPREICATED,I"M A GOOD SORT. Last time I was in th US was in 2005, Did the Circle line round Manhattan Island. Hurricane Katirina cut things short for me :( Edisons Historic Park is a big one on the list for me! Plus Niagra Falls.Here is a picture of my ugly mug! Now, much leaner around the gurth as well!
