Here is some of my collection. We have an Art Deco Weekend, each year. I bring
some machines down to the sea front here in Napier. We celebrate Napier"s Art
Deco heritage, which rose from an earthquake , which devistated the CBD of the
city. Much is based on that of Santa Barbara, unique for its own Deco
style.People flock from all over. The city swells by 10,000. three to four
hundred, vintage cars take place in a parade into the City.Dancing to 20's and
30's music. Big band stuff also in the sound shell, Glenn Miller etc. Even the
Navy boys do there bit. Dress up in your favourite braces hat, or cap with
complete kickerbockers, or boaters, spats, tales, and the ladys of course closh
hats gloves, fox furs, whatever. My contibuation is always at the great Gatsby
picnic. My gerth is much trimmer these days. Hope this works out on the
attachment Loran. Looking forward to Union next year. By the way Napier is
