hi folks. list lurker and wind-up dulcetto owner peeping out of the shadows to say I just completed work on our self-produced art film music video in the hallowe'en spirit:
'anna sees ghosts', a playfully spooky story which takes place within the haunted museum-like universe of a 78rpm record. even the dog on the label is a character. :) in the distant background of some shots you can't quite see but there is an edison cylinder record (Billy Murray's "Because I'm Married Now", 1907) and also a player piano roll from the early 1900s (slightly more visible). there's also a shrinkwrapped 8 track tape and an LP of The Who in the 1970s section of the haunted museum; still hard to quite make out but it's nice to know they're there. anyway, I had to share with you guys. I've loved records of all eras since I was a little kid, the more obscure the better, and among other things, I got to do a little tribute to them. you can see it on our website: http://windowstosky.com/watch thanks :) Joseph of Windows to Sky _______________________________________________ Phono-L mailing list http://phono-l.org
