I recently saw a later Diamond Disc motor with a more complicated governor design than I usually see. The governor has what I guess is an anti-shock mechanism, three fingers with holes and pins in them which I am assuming work similarly to the spring wire on a Fireside governor. I could not figure out how one would change the speed of the motor. Can anyone enlighten me?
