The tufts of grass were all hand painted, the scroll was decals. The triumph
never got decals, and the tufts of grass were still around in 1908.

Edison is the king of variety. I have seen a home with a triumph ID plate and
a home serial number so it was factory installed, I have seen home B's with the
decals, a standard D with the tufts of grass and a B ID plate, a maroon Gem
with the Gem decal instead of the Edison decal on the front of the machine.

At one time I thought Edison was like Victor, he was not. Victor has very
little variation, by contrast there are 15 different varieties of the Model H
reproducer over the time it was made from 1908 into the 1920's.

On the copper diaphragm found in the model C there are at least four different
ones, and there are five of the large copper diaphragm varieties.
