Years ago, I found a XII in an abandoned building that no longer had a roof. The cabinet was completely disintegrated but I did salvage the metal parts. This was in the late 1960s when I didn't know other collectors and parts were hard to come by. I used a governor spring from that motor to save an otherwise complete P1. I still have that machine as well as the arm horn and back bracket from the XII.
