What you have is definitely called a Royal Purple Amberol. The numbers of the Royal Purples run from 28,101 up to 29007, according to my data base.
The Royal Purples were Edison's answer to the Victor Red Seal records. They were recorded by the upper crust performers (instrumentalists and vocalists) and cost more than the Blue Amberols. The colors were purplish, maroonish, etc. They varied in color as did the Blue Amerbols.
