It looks like this is a new series on Science Channel - "Odd Folks Home" ? I
have set the cable to record. The info says it is the third episode of the
series and is called "Death and Taxidermy". There is a description tho of
one of the segments being about a man being obsessed with a dead inventor.
Is the plot Charley Hummel meets Norman Bates!
