The later Victor I from 1909 -20, or later used a larger case. They used the same tone arm and elbow as a Victor II. I have a Victor I from 1910 that has the larger case 12"x 12", and uses the 10" steel turntable. This has a Victor II bracket, arm, and elbow, and everything aligns perfectly. Is your Victor I the early one with a small case, or the larger one like mine? Harvey Kravitz

Parts from other machines can not be substituted. There is some anecdotal evidence to suggest that in the period 1915 - 1920 those small numbers of Victor I's being produced may finally have acquired back-brackets virtually identical to contemporary Victor II's, but these machines are extremely rare and therefore do not enter into the discussion.
