Frozen elbows are a common problem with Grafonolas. Does it have two screws under the motor plate that will allow you to remove it from the motor plate? Do that, remove any set screws, turn the arm up to about 12:00 and ease it out. Then you can try penetrating oil and warming the base while cooling the elbow. DO NOT use a wrench on that elbow. You'll break it for sure and replacements are running close to $100 these days. Someone needs to make a good repro of these, I think.
