To the Antique Phonograph Collecting Community:

I am pleased to announce that the Antique Phonograph Societywebsite has just
expanded its format to include a section for videos. We already have 15 videos
available forviewing, and everyone is encouraged to log on and enjoy them.
Simply go to www.antiquephono.org, and click on the“Videos” button that appears
on the Home Page toolbar.
These videos feature a wide variety of antique phonographsfrom the tinfoil era,
pioneering machines of the 1890s, early coin-ops, a hotair-powered phonograph,
Polyphone attachments, record changers from the 1920s,30s, and 40s, plus more.
We thank Rene Rondeau and Bob Barnett for graciouslyallowing their videos to be
featured on the APS website. Should others have interesting and
visuallyappealing videos (of no more than 10 minute duration and MP4 format
only) thatthey would like to have included on the website (instructional,
operational, rarity in action, etc.), please forward them to me and I will share
them withthe rest of the “Video Committee.”
In one year, our website has grown significantly, and all APS members can take
pride in supporting these activities and our hobbyin general.
George Paul
