For sale is a Rectorphone reproducer. The Rectorphone, created in 1906 by Enoch Rector, was intended to be powered by a treadle sewing machine, However, it ended up being a very simple phonograph with a spring motor. It was distributed through mail catalogs, specifically the Baird-North Company. Not a big seller, and surely infringing on patents, it is is very seldom found today. When found, many times the Rectorphone is missing parts as they were easily removed or lost from the simple construction of the phonograph.
