For sale is a Rectorphone reproducer. The Rectorphone, created in 1906 by Enoch Rector, was intended to be powered by a treadle sewing machine, However, it ended up being a very simple phonograph with a spring motor. It was distributed through mail catalogs, specifically the Baird-North Company. Not a big seller, and surely infringing on patents, it is is very seldom found today. When found, many times the Rectorphone is missing parts as they were easily removed or lost from the simple construction of the phonograph.
If you need to complete a machine, or are looking to find a Rectorphone someday, here is your chance to pick up an original reproducer. It is missing the stylus, but otherwise it is complete. Pictures available upon request. The price is $150.00, plus shipping. Please contact me with interest at: [email protected] Thank you Shawn Michael Shawn O'Rourke 248 915 0954
