--- WORLD DAY FOR AUDIOVISUAL HERITAGE 2015 ---
 
October 27 is World Day for Audiovisual Heritage. The theme for the 10th
anniversary is "Archives at Risk - Protecting the World's Identities."
 
To commemorate the day, the Association for Recorded Sound Collections
announces:
 
-- AMP! (ARSC Media & Publications), an online tool that lets you search all
ARSC Journal articles, conference recordings, and slide presentations, by
Keyword, Author, Title, Volume, and Year. The general public can access
full-text PDFs of ARSC Journal Volumes 1 (1967) to 26 (1995). Conference
recordings from 1994 to 2010 are available to the general public.

-- ARSC President, Patrick Feaster, signed the Coordinating Council of
Audiovisual Archives Associations (CCAAA) declaration, "Safeguarding
Endangered Archives: A Shared Vision."
